Dorothy Clay Sims runs the Law Offices of Dorothy Clay Sims, PA, in Ocala, Florida. Lawyers throughout the United States consult her on cross-examining expert witnesses, and when an attorney asks, she deposes the defense experts herself. She is also listed as an attorney on the team at Felice Trial Attorneys in West Palm Beach.

She is the author of Exposing Deceptive Defense Doctors, published by James Publishing, and has written chapters in books with David Ball, Don Keenan and Dr. Michael Freeman. Her articles have appeared in Trial magazine, the journal of the American Association for Justice, including its December 2015 cover, as well as The Champion and Brain Injury Professional.

She has given more than 350 talks on medical-legal issues, in nearly every U.S. state including Hawaii and Alaska, and in Paris, Jaipur and Kyoto. She works with Dr. Oregon K. Hunter, a physician who reviews recordings of defense medical examinations against the reports written about them.

She has also written two children’s books for parents who are injured, which she offers free on request.
